]Sleep Was Rehearsal

Sleep wasn’t rest.
It was rehearsal.
The body learned stillness.
The mind learned compliance.
Nothing was forced.
Nothing was asked.
The system only needed repetition.
Glimpse
System state recorded during low activity. Response amplitude falls within baseline.
Lifeless Edge
The body didn’t fall. It peeled.

No rupture was recorded.
Integrity failed in layers.
The surface detached first.
What remained stayed functional.
The body didn’t fall.
It peeled.
Glimpse
Integrity scan flagged partial detachment. Recovery state unknown.
VISUAL ARCHIVE
Art as evidence.
Each piece observed, catalogued, preserved.

]METHODS
Principles are constraints.
Systems remember what you forget.
Typography Systems
- Hierarchical tension through scale contrast
- Variable fonts for atmospheric weight shifts
- Monospace as data, serif as confession
Motion Principles
- Slow easing functions (0.4s–2s minimum)
- Scroll-driven parallax layering
- Asymmetric timing for discomfort
Layout Logic
- Broken grids with intentional misalignment
- Whitespace as pressure and silence
- Vertical rhythm that refuses comfort
Engineering Patterns
- React Server Components for static isolation
- Optimistic UI with deliberate delay
- Edge rendering for geographic control
Every signal carries weight. Every transmission leaves a mark.
]IDENTITY
Storm
I design interfaces that observe. I engineer systems that remember. I write stories about the space between control and collapse.
My work exists at the intersection of product design, software engineering, and speculative fiction. Each discipline informs the others. Design teaches me about constraints. Code teaches me about systems. Writing teaches me about what we fear when we build.
I have built surveillance dashboards, real-time monitoring tools, and decision-making platforms for organizations that prefer not to be named. I have designed typography systems that make data feel inevitable. I have written about worlds where sleep is regulated and dreams are evidence.
The work is not about horror. It is about clarity. The system was always watching. I just make it legible.
Signatures leave traces. This one breathes.
]Signature
The Emote
A translucent presence that breathes and listens. It does not imitate a jellyfish — it borrows the sensation of life suspended in silence.
Shader-first form, no rigs or keyframes
Fresnel glow and internal depth for soft translucency
Responds to focus without breaking its calm
CHANNELS
Points of contact. Use with intention.
